How Siana Predicts and Prevents Failure in Hot Water Circulation Pump
On February 29th, 2024, Siana predicted an upcoming failure in a critical Hot Water Circulation Pump, located within the boiler room of a global manufacturer of flavors, fragrances, and cosmetic ingredients.
Based on the notifications about the issue, received from Siana, the maintenance staff scheduled maintenance to be carried out almost a month later on March 24th, 2024 (during the weekend). The service involved the replacement of a bearing in the motor driving the pump, due to wear and tear.
Using Siana a sudden and costly production halt was avoided, which would otherwise have occurred, had the machine instead been left running until breakdown.
